We liked the atmosphere of the dining and lounging area, very spacious and with taste. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location is near restaurants and shops, especially a good cheese shop a street away. Felt the sheets were clean and the place orderly. The buffet breakfast was nicely spread out. Pay parking was conveniently just behind the hotel.
We were surprised that the rooms were so small. It is ok if one uses the room only for sleeping, which we did. Not a major problem.

The breakfast offered delicious variety. The room was too small and noisy at night from the street.

We ate at a really nice restaurant for evening meals. There were central heating, an electronic key card, and a work desk, which was great.

It was close to the city. And there were things you could do and visit if you didn have transport. The famous modern Groninger Museum was close by as were pubs and restaurants.
We missed the possibility to make coffee and tea In the rooms. You had to go down and order it in the bar. We also thought we could only have breakfast at the hotel As we did not see menus. That was not so important as you could Eat in one of the surrounding restaurants or cafes

comfortable, comfortable, comfortable
I stayed in a renovated Small Double or Twin Room with an comfy bed, made for a restful night. The delicious breakfast included an excellent selection of meats, cheeses, and fresh orange juice that set the day off right. The hotel is located at the edge of the city center, providing easy access to vibrant bars and cafés while remaining a peaceful retreat inside.
do recommend 😍👍

good breakfast
Could not check in at 14:00 like it is written on their website, simply because i "booked only one room". Heater was not working at all and found the window open when outside was freezing. The room was not cleaned even if I asked for that. The cleaning lady came only to put the towels from the floor back on the rack even if they were soaking wet. The room was very small.

Very central location, & extremely quiet at night so we slept very well. Also able to borrow two bicycles to enable us to join our family on excursions.
No hairdryer in bedroom,, & no tea / coffee making facilities either, both of which are standard in UK.

I loved the cozy, inviting atmosphere and the comfy bed! The location was perfect for exploring the city, but the bathroom felt outdated 😕

We stayed here for 1 night and really enjoyed the place. It was clean, everyone was outstandingly accommodating and excellent. This was our 2nd stay, they offered standard room with wicked good bed. The location was excellent, for example, Visual Arts Centre was not too far away from the hotel.

One simple answer, yes or no?
Friendly staff, especially during check-in. Location is fantastic for exploring the heart of the town, a mere 5-minute walk!
Rooms are dated and cramped, lacking basic amenities like a kettle. The noise from other guests really disrupted my sleep.
